Are you suggesting replacing the RFC list with a related links page?  We do
have related projects on the side bar, towards the bottom.

IMO a "related" link.
create a page for related links if you want to provide promo text and stuff.
There are a few relateds we could usefully have, Java Mail would be one, IMC
is a good one, some of the anti-spam texts we've seen over the years, and of
course RBL's, as well as the internal relateds like avalon and ant.
