The patch does seem correct to me, but it has the potential to add overhead
for each article esp. when line information is already know to handler. NNTP
Servers could have a lot of groups and articles (often in GB).

Should it be the responsibility of a mailet to set the right headers if it
changes body ?
In the mailet world nothing is a restriction. A mail could alter headers,
validate, log to db etc but as a general rule, a well behaved mailet should
leave message consistent.
