       Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2004 10:39 AM
    Comment:
Added 3.0 as a fix version. fetchmail exists in both MAIN (3.0) and branch_2_1_fcs (2.2.0a##).
Identical except for minor changes due to differences in the Mailet API.
    Changes:
             Fix Version changed to 3.0

        Key: JAMES-149
Summary: Add soft-fail to unresolved received from domains
       Type: Task

     Status: Resolved
   Priority: Minor
 Resolution: FIXED

    Project: James
 Components:
             FetchMail
   Fix Fors:
             2.2.0a16
             3.0
   Versions:
             2.2.0a15

   Assignee: Steve Brewin
   Reporter: Steve Brewin

    Created: Sun, 8 Feb 2004 3:44 PM
    Updated: Fri, 13 Feb 2004 10:39 AM
    Due: Sat, 28 Feb 2004 12:00 AM

Description:
Add a soft-fail option so that 'Received' headers with unresolved 'from xxx' domains are injected
into James with a MailAttribute indicating the problem.

These can be detected in the Mailet chain and processed according to an individual installation's
needs.

This adds a further alternative to the current setup which offers the choice of not checking
at all or rejecting mail that fails the check.
