Subject [jira] Resolved: (JSPF-49) Buggy IPV6 comparison in PTRMechanism
Date Tue, 01 May 2007 13:25:18 GMT

Stefano Bagnara resolved JSPF-49.

    Resolution: Fixed

Changed it to parse the string via IPAddr and then compare the IPAddr.toString.

r533795: Added better ipaddress comparison (PTRMechanism) by parsing the string to ipaddr
and toString again (better matching for weird IPV6 addresses). Fixed ExpModifier to remove
leading and trailing quotes from TXT records retrieved. Changed AMechanism/DNSRequest/MacroExpand
to check for FQDN synchronous checks before running the DNS lookups.
