Very likely. In past I reported the issue of the duplicate
configuration, but we had not a solution and Bernd also suggested that
the duplication was there by purpose.

I have no time to check now, but at that time the classpath included in
the shell script distributed with the spring deployment was including
full absolute paths of the directories present in the build system.
