Zack Shoylev commented on JCLOUDS-883:
--------------------------------------

[~khc] I think this might be fixed in 1.9.1; can you look into https://github.com/jclouds/jclouds/blob/master/apis/openstack-swift/src/main/java/org/jclouds/openstack/swift/v1/features/ObjectApi.java

You will see we have both updateMetadata and updateHeaders, which should fix this issue, I
think.

> Swift only allows appending to user metadata, different from other object stores, such
that the following integration test fails:
> {noformat}
> Failed tests:
>   CloudFilesUSBlobIntegrationLiveTest>BaseBlobIntegrationTest.testCopyBlobReplaceMetadata:812->BaseBlobIntegrationTest.checkUserMetadata:606

> Expecting:
>  <{"key2"="value2", "key3"="value3", "key1"="value1", "key4"="value4"}>
> to be equal to:
>  <{"key3"="value3", "key4"="value4"}>
> but was not.
> {noformat}
> Unfortunately the provider API does not appear to provide a way to set the combination
of content and user metadata to fix this up after the fact.
