Andrew Gaul commented on JCLOUDS-1281:
--------------------------------------

Static Large Objects have a number of benefits over Dynamic Large Objects, but we really need
to support both to allow users to upgrade from 1.9 to 2.0. This looks as simple as adding
a PUT RPC which adds a {{X-Object-Manifest: container/myobject/}} header and modifying the
existing GET RPC to add a {{multipart-manifest=get}} parameter. We will need integration
tests to verifying that the portable abstraction can read both types of objects. [~archupsg03]
Can you investigate this?

> It looks like jClouds 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 is supporting SLO implementation for Multipart
upload for Swift Object Store.
> Where as jClouds 1.9 supports DLO.
> Because of this issue, backward compatibility cannot be achieved.
> Openstack Swift should have DLO implementation also.
