Summary: LogFilePatternReceiver depends on jakarta-oro, could
                    migrate to java.util.regex
           Product: Log4j
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Other
        AssignedTo: log4j-dev@logging.apache.org
        ReportedBy: carnold@apache.org

LogFilePatternReceiver depends on jakarta-oro. There are apparently no available tests to
support
refactoring it to use java.util.regex. If it is revisited for bug 43141, adding unit tests
and migrating to
java.util.regex should be considered.
