Hi Bhushan,

You should use the advanced features of filters.
But filters are not supported by the property configurator, only by th
DOMConfigurator, so you should use an XML properties file, add filters to
category3 to allow only FATAL and ERROR as log output.

If you search the archive, you will find some examples on the implementation
of filters.

I am using three appenders

log4j.rootCategory=debug, dest1, dest2, dest3

How can I specify that for dest3 appender only FATAL and ERROR level
messages should log.
