Subject WARN messages when using Log4j
Date Wed, 15 Dec 2010 12:37:41 GMT
Hi,
I'm getting WARN messages when using Log4j, specifically the messages are:

log4j:WARN Continuable parsing error 23 and column 69
log4j:WARN Document root element "log4j:configuration", must match DOCTYPE
root "null".
log4j:WARN Continuable parsing error 23 and column 69
log4j:WARN Document is invalid: no grammar found.

These messages are shown allways, it doesn't matter if I load a xml
configuration file
with DOMConfigurator.configure("configuration/loggin.xml") before declaring
a Logger instance or I directly declare the logger without specifying a
configuration file.

The file I'm trying to use as configuration is the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE log4j:configuration SYSTEM "log4j.dtd">
<log4j:configuration debug="false" xmlns:log4j="
http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/">
<appender name="Fichero" class="org.apache.log4j.FileAppender">
<param name="File" value="logs/Magentix2.log"/>
<layout class="org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout">
<param name="ConversionPattern" value="%t %-5p %c{2} - %m%n"/>
</layout>
</appender>
<appender name="Consola" class="org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender">
<layout class="org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout">
<param name="ConversionPattern" value="%d %-5p [%t] %C{2} (%F:%L) - \n
 %m%n"/>
</layout>
</appender>
<root>
<priority value ="info" />
<appender-ref ref="Consola" ></appender-ref>
<appender-ref ref="Fichero" ></appender-ref>
</root>
</log4j:configuration>

Please, can anyone help me? I would like to solve the warnings or at least
make them to not show on the console.
Thank you very much.
