Subject [jira] Updated: (SOLR-1240) Numerical Range faceting
Date Tue, 27 Jul 2010 21:55:20 GMT

Hoss Man updated SOLR-1240:
---------------------------

    Attachment: SOLR-1240.patch

updated patch to include the "start" values ... did this for range faceting and the legacy
date faceting (where it shouldn't cause any problems)

I think this is good to go, for both 3.1 and 4.0

objections?

> For faceting numerical ranges using many facet.query query arguments leads to unmanageably
large queries as the fields you facet over increase. Adding the same faceting parameter for
numbers which already exists for dates should fix this.
