Subject [jira] [Created] (SOLR-3992) QuerySenderListener doesn't populate document cache
Date Thu, 25 Oct 2012 12:25:12 GMT
Shotaro Kamio created SOLR-3992:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: QuerySenderListener doesn't populate document cache
                 Key: SOLR-3992
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-3992
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: search
    Affects Versions: 4.0
            Reporter: Shotaro Kamio

QuerySenderListner class can be used to populate cache on startup of solr (firstSearcher event).
It populates caches. The code looks trying to populate document cache also. But it doesn't.

{code}
        NamedList values = rsp.getValues();
        for (int i=0; i<values.size(); i++) {
          Object o = values.getVal(i);
          if (o instanceof DocList) {
{code}

It is because value of response object uses ResultContext object to store document list, not
DocList object.
