Another usecase is to have multiple collections, each with different number of shards and
different #replicas. I would not want to see 10 replicas for each shard just because I loaded
10 servers. Rather, I think it would be useful if I could say "collection1, #shards=3, #replicas=2"
(total 6 indexes) and "collection2, #shards=4, #replicas=5" (total 20 indexes) and if I bring
up a 10 nodes cluster, the indexes are somehow distributed across them.
