Subject [jira] [Commented] (SOLR-7688) JettyConfig cannot be used with extra filters
Date Tue, 16 Jun 2015 01:06:00 GMT

Ishan Chattopadhyaya commented on SOLR-7688:

bq. My patch changes it to a LinkedHashMap, adds a test, and also fixes up some params.

bq. The double initialization issue looks interesting, thanks for pointing that out. Assuming
that is the case, though, the debugFilter is also double initialized and should be handled
in a similar way? Seems like that should be handled in a separate issue.

Sure, that makes sense. I'll try to reproduce again and open a new issue for that.

> Before SOLR-7166, users could create a MiniSolrCloudCluster with extra filters by specifying
their own SortedMap and comparator (since Class<? extends Filter> is not comparable).
JettyConfigs allow you to specify filter classes to add, but they don't work because JettyConfigs
manages its own filter map using TreeMap. Thus, there is no way to specify a comparator and
it fails at runtime with "Class cannot be cast to java.lang.comparable."
