I removed the remaining nocommits, but after some beasting I hit this failure:

This is an assert that just re-enabled ... it's a little spooky because it's asserting that
the bbox opto is in fact valid, checking that the query shape is either WITHIN or OVERLAPS
the bbox cell (which in turn is fully within the fudge-factor'd x,y,z bbox).
