Subject [jira] [Commented] (LUCENE-6762) CheckIndex cannot "fix" indexes that have individual segments with missing or corrupt .si files because sanity checks will fail trying to read the index initially.

I think that makes sense, but it's maybe a bit spooky, e.g. it could include transient IO
issues like too-many-open-files, but again so would the rest of the code in CheckIndex ...
so I guess that makes sense?
