Subject [jira] [Resolved] (SOLR-11296) Spellcheck parameters not working in new UI
Date Fri, 14 Dec 2018 14:12:00 GMT

Jan Høydahl resolved SOLR-11296.
    Resolution: Fixed

[~elyograg] feel free to pull from git and test. It's a bit hard to test ootb, what I did
was modifying the /spell handler from example/techproducts and removed the defaults with booleans,
and then ran bin/solr -e techproducts, opened Query UI, changed handler to /spell, entered
a misspelling, e.g. "corsari ssd dsik" and then played with the checkboxes. You immediately
see that they are added to the URL, and also that the output changes.

> When these spellcheck options are chosen in the query interface in the new UI, they are
not added to the query that gets executed:
> spellcheck.reload
> spellcheck.onlyMorePopular
> spellcheck.extendedResults
> spellcheck.collate
> From what I could tell, the other spellcheck options *are* included in the query when
they are configured in the query interface.
