Ok thanks,  I will try. I did not yet do it, because I saw some other netty libraries in
the Solr directory and I did not want to mess it up.

Would it make sense to include it in the Solr distribution?

That being said, I can also describe in the reference guide some instructions on how to configure
it, if wanted/needed. Just point me to some documents on how to update it.
