Otis, stop teasing people! You know as well as I do that 2 is the maximum 
edit distance for fuzzy query in 4.0.

So,

    Keyword~5

Is treated as:

    Keyword~2

Check with &debug=query to see.

You can use the Lucene query syntax with Solr, does that help?
Try Keyword~5 for example.
