More information

That’s my working space :
ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32 bits

I also did those steps:

1.Hadoop www.mirro.ibcp.fr/pub/apache/hadoop
/common/stable/
(V. hadoop-1.0.3.tar.gz, )
extract in terminal : tar zxvf hadoop-1.0.3.tar.gz
HADOOP configuration:
http://hadoop.apache.org/common/docs/r0.20.2
/quickstart.html
An “output” directory is required to start hadoop.
This file is
creating thanks to the following line.
$: sudo bin/hadoop jar hadoop-examples-*.jar grep
input output 'dfs[a-z.]+'

2.Mahout www.mirror.speednetwork.de/apache/mahout
(mahout-collections-1.0: -bin.zip, -docs.zip,
 -src.zip)
Env variable have to be set:
JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-i386
HADOOP_HOME=/home/hadoop-1.0.3
(if HADOOP_HOME is seted, we don't
add HADOOP_CONF_DIR to classpath otherwise
HADOOP_CONF_DIR=/home/hadoop-1.0.3/conf)
MAHOUT_LOCAL=/usr/local/mahout-0.6

What I need to do for make mahout working.
I have no more ideas.
I’m trying to make it working since a week .

That’s my bug:
###################################
#usr/local/mahout-0.6$ ./bin/mahout
#MAHOUT_LOCAL is set, so we don't
add HADOOP_CONF_DIR to classpath.
#Erreur : impossible de trouver ou charger
la classe principale
org.apache.mahout.driver.MahoutDriver
##################################

thanks
