Abhijit Diwan commented on MCHANGELOG-43:

No actually I had problem where the configuration is not able to log to perforce. If you define
$P4PORT then you do not need to give the user id and server name in the scm url. Also please
not that the problem for me is with following change log plug-in

where as Jimisola is referring to

<version>2.0-SNAPSHOT</version><!-- @TODO: use stable version -->

I have wroking pom which creates change log properly with following configuration

                        <id>Perofrce report</id>
                            <dateFormat>yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss</dateFormat>

As I suggested problem is with plugin

where I feel according to perforce documentation should use "..." at the end of command to
recurse all the subdirectories.

> All my java code is under that directory but the plugin is not able to recurse all the
subdirectories under that directory. I looked at perforce doc and ran command "p4 filelog
//EJB/ejb-dev/MavenCodeline/AeConnector/..." and it worked so I think with plugin those last
3 dots which makes p4 recurse is not there. The documentation for p4 command you can find
