Richard van der Hoff commented on MDEP-47:
------------------------------------------

I suspect this won't be flexible enough for your needs, but when I was trying to acheive something
similar, rather than updating plexus-archiver, I had a {{FilteringZipUnArchiver extends ZipUnArchiver}}
which overrides {{execute()}} and checks the name of each entry before extracting it.

Just in case the plexus-archiver upgrade is a real blocker, really.

Anyway, this would be handy for me.

> Perhaps there is another solution that I'm overlooking, and if so... I apologize, but
in the dependency-maven-plugin's dependency:unpack goal, it would be quite convenient to have
an option to have an includes/excludes capability which did pattern matched unpack resolutions.
 I.E.  :
> <!-- files I'd like to unpack -->
> <includes>
> <include>*.class</include>
> </includes>
> <excludes>
> <exclude>*.html</exclude>
> </excludes>
