Andris Rauda commented on MNG-2046:
-----------------------------------

I'd say that this IS a problem.

In my case - I'm trying to read build.number property from file, generated by Bamboo integration
server for each build.
When using Ant, it is possible to read property file using -propertyfile.

Spent few hours Googling - it seams that there is actually NO WAY to read a custom properties
file, except for, maybe, writing special plugin for this.
I found few unanswered posts on this issue.
I found, that this was listed as a problem Nr 1. on Andreas Schaefer's "Short Review of Maven
2" (written more than year ago!)

> It would be great to allow the option "-propertyfile" in the command line, like Ant does
to load multi properties. For the moment, it's possible to do "'D", but for a single property.
