Subject [jira] Closed: (MENFORCER-84) Allow rules to be configured from an external file

Brian Fox closed MENFORCER-84.
------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

I think this will be covered by Maven 3.x mixins. Manually injecting values from an xml file
is a significant change to the functionality. Currently Plexus handles this transparently
and duplicating the logic in the plugin is not something that should be taken lightly.

> It could be handy to share enforcer rules configuration across projects without using
POM inheritance. Perhaps consider accepting an XML file that contains the rules in addition
to the current method of configuration.
