Subject [jira] (MASSEMBLY-601) http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-assembly-plugin/assembly.html seems to have the components of a filter element in the wrong order
Date Wed, 29 Feb 2012 00:49:02 GMT
Benson Margulies created MASSEMBLY-601:
------------------------------------------

             Summary: http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-assembly-plugin/assembly.html
seems to have the components of a filter element in the wrong order
                 Key: MASSEMBLY-601
                 URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MASSEMBLY-601
             Project: Maven 2.x Assembly Plugin
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.3
            Reporter: Benson Margulies

The page says: "or they may be fully qualified in the form groupId:artifactId:type:version[:classifier]"

However, it seems by experiment that the order is:

    groupId:artifactId:type:classifier:version

I'd just fix it but I was hoping that someone would tell me that I haven't lost my mind.
