Note that Ant's {{<depend>}} does a reasonably good job of figuring out which dependent
classes need to be recompiled. Can still be fooled by compile-time constants (at least until
JDK 8 javac which addresses this), and things get more complicated when JSR 269 is used to
generate classes and/or resources.
