Anders Hammar closed MCOMPILER-195.
-----------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Bug

This would be a bug in m2e and should be reported on that project (see http://www.eclipse.org/m2e/support/).

> Project: Maven 2.x Compiler Plugin
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 3.0
> Environment: Tested using SpringSource Tool Suite Version: 3.1.0.RELEASE Build
Id: 201210061306 - but other Eclipse variants (Indigo) also had the same problem. Running
on x64 Wintel platform (Windows 7 Enterprise)

> After checking out a Maven project from SVN, we attempted to "Configure -> Convert
to Maven Project" from the Project Menu. When the 3.0 version of the maven-compiler-plugin
is selected in the pom, the conversion process does not properly complete. Although no errors
are reported - at the completion of the process, the only Library listed is the "JRE System
Library [JavaSE-1.6]"
> However, when selecting the previous version of the maven-compiler-plugin (version 2.5.1)
- the same conversion process completes successfully - and all of the maven dependencies are
listed in a Maven Dependencies library under the Libraries folder.
> Attaching the project pom. Please let me know if you require more information.
