Andreas Sewe commented on MJARSIGNER-44:
----------------------------------------
FWIW, the original discussion on users@maven.apache.org is archived here: http://maven.40175.n5.nabble.com/How-to-activate-a-profile-when-offline-td5825987.html
At any rate, I am not quite sure how the "UI" would look like for the change that Martin proposes.
Add a {{<dontUseTsaWhenOffline>}} configuration option (with a better name, of course)?
> offline ignored ..enable requiresOnline attribute

> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 1.4
> Environment: JDK 1.7
> MVN 3.1.1
> Reporter: Martin Gainty
> Priority: Minor
>
> Andreas/Curtis want the ability to detect offline situation to automatically configure
the tsa attribute in maven-jarsigner-plugin <configuration>..
> detecting offline environment can be achieved with requiresOnline from maven-plugin-tools-annotations:
> http://maven.apache.org/plugin-tools-archives/plugin-tools-3.2/maven-plugin-tools-annotations/apidocs/org/apache/maven/plugin/annotations/datamodel/MojoAnnotationContent.html
> Requesting the requiresOnline attribute and methods which implement requiresOnline be
factored into maven-jarsigner-plugin
> Thank You
