I see... So it is actually the expected result.

I thought the trimming feature only used to trim the stack trace elements _before_ reaching
the test, which would be very useful. For example with Arquillian runner the stack trace before
test can be very long and I don't want to see it but I want to have complete stack trace inside
the test. But this is for another feature request, I guess.
