Subject [jira] [Commented] (MSKINS-127) For all pages it take 2 minutes to see content in China
Date Sun, 08 May 2016 21:41:12 GMT

Hervé Boutemy commented on MSKINS-127:

yes, we can do it if we cannot fix
but I expect we can fix: it just needs a little time and precise testing
current skin with ITs as Jira issue are not really practical to know what use case represents
each issue
I'll try it during the week if nobody beats me at it: we have the general code:
{code:javascript}        (function() {
            var s = document.createElement('script'), t = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];
            s.type = 'text/javascript';
            s.async = true;
            s.src = ' ... js url ...';
            t.parentNode.insertBefore(s, t);

> As far as I know, it is generally good practice to put all script in the end of body,
so that page is visible even if any 3rd party server fail the moment the page is requests.
> This is major bug as it affects many users, the reason it was not filed before is English
skill, motivation and where to raise.
> Please review all page for 3rd party loads to insure that generated site will work even
on PC without Internet access.
