[~rmerriman] I have seen similar behavior for unmanaged properties as well, if you update
the ‘profiler.client.period.duration’ property ((which is unmanaged by Ambari)) through
REST call, I see property updated by fetching through REST get/CONFIG_GET from stellar. If
you restart the REST service the property will be reset
