 Release manager: Leonardo Uribe

 * Proposed release date: 2011-03-26

=== Issues ===

 * This release is necessary for release myfaces core 2.0.10.

=== Testing ===

Here's how you can help us test the distribution.

Add this to your pom.xml (a node inside <project> )

        <name>Test repository for myfaces-builder-plugin 1.0.10</name>

then use myfaces-builder-plugin:

        ..... some stuff ....

myfaces core 1.1.x, 1.2.x, 2.0.x and tomahawk use myfaces-builder-plugin so the most easy
way is modify its pom (api/pom.xml, impl/pom.xml for example) for use it, then mvn install
and check the generated artifacts.

== Tasks ==

== Proposed Release Announcement ==

== Diary ==

1. Preparing myfaces plugin parent, myfaces builder annotations, myfaces builder plugin and
myfaces javascript plugin

  * Try -DdryRun=true SUCCESS

mvn release:prepare -DdryRun=true

   * Release it! FAIL

mvn release:prepare -Dresume=false
mvn install
mvn release:rollback
mvn release:prepare -Dresume=false

     Note: Preparing the release will create the new tag in SVN, automatically checking in
on your behalf.

     Note: If you're located in Europe then release:prepare may fail with 'Unable to tag SCM'
and 'svn: No such revision X'. Wait 10 seconds and run mvn release:prepare again.

mvn release:prepare

I was running the needed tasks to get the 1.0.10 release of Apache
MyFaces Builder Plugin out.

This release includes some minor changes necessary to build myfaces core 2.0.x and
other improvements like:

- MYFACES-3032 Include composite component information on documentation generated by myfaces-builder-plugin
- MYFACES-3031 Add Client Behavior support on myfaces-builder-plugin
- MYFACES-3059 ComponentMeta does not add listeners using its name on myfaces-builder-plugin
- MYFACES-3058 Use Stragegy pattern for QdoxModelBuilder on myfaces-builder-plugin
- TRINIDAD-1409 Add myfaces-builder-annotations to trinidad trunk 1.2.x, so trinidad jars

  could have myfaces-metadata.xml, making possible use builder plugin on trinidad sandbox
- TOMAHAWK-1560 Tomahawk 1.1.10 for JSF 1.2 fails to deploy on JBoss AS 6 because of TLD errors

Testing instructions are available at [3].

Please note that this vote concerns all of the following parts:
 1. Maven artifact group "org.apache.myfaces.buildtools" artifact "myfaces-builder-plugin"
v1.0.10 [1]
 2. Maven artifact group "org.apache.myfaces.buildtools" artifact "myfaces-builder-annotations"
v1.0.9 [1]
 2. Maven artifact group "org.apache.myfaces.buildtools" artifact "myfaces-plugin-parent"
v1.0.6 [1]

The artifacts were deployed to a nexus repository ([1]).

Please take a look at the "1.0.10" artifacts and vote!

Please note: This vote is "majority approval" with a minimum of three
+1 votes (see [3]).

[ ] +1 for community members who have reviewed the bits
[ ] +0
[ ] -1 for fatal flaws that should cause these bits not to be released,
 and why..............
