Subject [jira] [Commented] (OFBIZ-11140) Removing clutter in various Util* classes
Date Sun, 21 Jul 2019 09:38:00 GMT

Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-11140:

Hi Mathieu,

OK, I'll ask for the same on the dev ML.

I missed one point: there is no commit revision number in this issue. I checked and I see
a pattern coming. You did also forget in other issues, at least OFBIZ-11141, OFBIZ-11142 and
OFBIZ-11101. Unfortunately I don't think we can't rely on Fisheye connection with Jira which
is not always reliable. Actually I tend to doubt about all free external services as they
have a tendency to disappear at some point... Maybe I'm wrong though because the service is
now delivered by the ASF at https://fisheye.apache.org/browse/ofbiz (we would need to check
with Infra if this service is here to stay). Still IMO it's not a big deal to put commits
revisions in Jira issues and it's then easier to just copy them from comments for any need.
And last but not least, it seems this service is only accessible when you are logged in. So
"external" users would miss the information.

Thanks for all your good work on the framework :) I must say I can't review all the changes
you recently committed, but be reassured I'm still doing some surveys ;)
