I also have this question, because the update notifications for 
OpenOffice instances 3.2.0, ... 4.0.1 had been activated a couple of 
minutes ago. Thus, this user got another one. May be it was a 
notification from SourceForge.

Damn.
Ariel, you are right.
I have overseen this in my recent activation of the update notification.
Thus, installed Mac OS X OpenOffice instance will not get an update 
notification about 4.1.0.
