Perhaps in the downloads section? To remind people or just to inform that what they use is
made by their community, which is vast and interesting.

I tend to think that anything that impedes the delivery of a homepage's message is risky.
This is especially so with something like AOO that is both an enduser product (or set of them)
and a developers' project.
