Also swig (www.swig.org) is very good for interfacing to C++. I use it for C++ --> python
modules and it works really well; I hear its very good 
for perl too.

Then your Apache-ASP files could just call the C++ stuff directly

Might be more than you need right now, but it might ultimately be a more powerful solution
