[~anoopsamjohn] : Do you mean hbase0.94 has two kind of hbase jar? One is hbase0.94.x.jar
and other is hbase0.94.x-security.jar? 
HBase version specified in pom file of Phoenix is <hbase.version>0.94.12</hbase.version>.
