Subject [jira] [Created] (PHOENIX-926) Snappy error on mac osx
Date Wed, 09 Apr 2014 20:24:15 GMT
Dan Di Spaltro created PHOENIX-926:
--------------------------------------

             Summary: Snappy error on mac osx
                 Key: PHOENIX-926
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-926
             Project: Phoenix
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 4.0.0
         Environment: mac osx 10.9.2
            Reporter: Dan Di Spaltro
            Priority: Minor

Using the sqlline client I am running into issues doing a join, a simple join was taking forever
and then it eventually popped back with 35 stack traces of the following.

I tested creating the following on the hbase shell
{code}
create 't1', { NAME => 'cf1', COMPRESSION => 'SNAPPY' }
{code}

And then inserting and everything worked fine.
{code}
put 't1', 'r1', 'cf1', 'value'
{code}

{code}
