Subject [jira] [Created] (PHOENIX-3993) Make use of DATETIME_PLUS operator in calcite for arithmetics on DATE and TIME
Date Wed, 05 Jul 2017 07:16:00 GMT
Rajeshbabu Chintaguntla created PHOENIX-3993:
------------------------------------------------

             Summary: Make use of DATETIME_PLUS operator in calcite for arithmetics on DATE
and TIME
                 Key: PHOENIX-3993
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-3993
             Project: Phoenix
          Issue Type: Sub-task
            Reporter: Rajeshbabu Chintaguntla
            Assignee: Rajeshbabu Chintaguntla

Syntax of arithmetics on DATE or TIME type are different in calcite. For example
{noformat}
date '2014-02-11' + interval '2' day
{noformat}

So any arithmetics on date or time should replace with it. We need to add it as compatibility
change so added calcite-compat-change flag to it.
