Subject [jira] [Commented] (PIVOT-761) Test a more generic Validation approach on fields and Containers (Forms, etc)

Greg Brown commented on PIVOT-761:
----------------------------------

This is an interesting idea, but validation does not belong in BeanAdapter, nor does it belong
in Form. The sole purpose of BeanAdapter is to make a Bean look like a Map, so its properties
can be accessed dynamically. Form's only purpose is layout - validation logic belongs elsewhere
(perhaps in the validation package).

> Investigating on this field ... both on validating single fields (not only text input
fields) and Container (like Forms), like in JSF.

> General idea: put investigation code under /skunk and the minimal set of interfaces and
classes, and the rest outside (in a dedicated subproject, here or under apache-extras).
