As a community user, I'd just like to add my two cents and say that I
am also a user that uses the "genapp" functionality (and I'm still on

If the genapp functionality and the documentation were in place, I'd
happily upgrade to maven 2 provided the build process was
straight-forward and thouroughly tested. I remember when I started
with jetspeed a year ago, I spent a lot of cycles just trying to get
it to build and I would prefer to not go through that again. :)
