Subject [jira] Resolved: (QPID-18) Update Java client and broker to MINA 1.0 release
Date Thu, 12 Oct 2006 20:49:35 GMT
     [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-18?page=all ]

Robert Greig resolved QPID-18.

    Resolution: Fixed

Updated to 1.1.0 snapshot. It makes sense to track 1.1 since it is going to use java.util.concurrent.

Currently we need to add backport concurrent but this is only until MINA changes to java.util.concurrent
(scheduled to happen after their 1.0.1 release).

Note that the old thread pool is still enabled by default. The new MINA thread pool can be
enabled by setting:

<filterchain enableExecutorPool="false"/>

in the config.xml file.

> We are currently using a build of MINA from the trunk, circa version 0.9.5.
> Now that version 1.0 has been released we should update to use that version.
> We have our own thread pool implementation, I am not sure if there are any changes to
MINA that will mean that code has to be modified.
