Subject [jira] Commented: (QPID-39) Restructure Java Client test package
Date Wed, 08 Nov 2006 13:00:51 GMT

Martin Ritchie commented on QPID-39:
------------------------------------

The main unit tests have been moved to package test/unit
There are a couple of tests that were not previously included in the test suites but now cause
a failure. The ones that are tricky to fix have been flagged ignore and JIRAs created.

The use ot the ant task. 'testreport' may be more useful than running 'test' as this generates
a report in the build directory. (build/module/reports/junit/index.html)

Examples still need to be restructured

> Currently the test package is a mix of unit test and example applications. The should
be a clear line between the various types of test.
> Perhaps the tests could be categorised something like.
> client.test.unit
> client.test.examples
> client.utils
> That way we can run all the test in the unit package and know all the tests have been
run.
