Subject [jira] Commented: (QPID-1720) If client id contains an underscore it is not recognized in connection URL parsing

Rajith Attapattu commented on QPID-1720:
----------------------------------------

This is fixed in Qpid trunk at rev 751061
The fix is a bit of a hack. If client id is specified with an underscore (ex my_clientid)
then the .getHost() method would return empty.
In that case I do an additional check to see if the client id is indeed specified by inspecting
the value returned by .getAuthority().

> When the following URL is parsed the client ID is not recognized and therefore a unique
ID is generated.
> amqp://user:pass@client_id/test?brokerlist='tcp://localhost:5672'
> The java URI parser skips it due to the underscore.
