Subject [jira] [Comment Edited] (QPID-4197) GlobalQueuesTest.testTopicDurableConsumerMessageCount fails occasionally on Apache CI

Keith Wall edited comment on QPID-4197 at 8/8/12 8:45 AM:
----------------------------------------------------------

Appears to be the same underlying cause as QPID-4162.

The session closure from Slow Consumer Disconnect is racing with the closure of the connection
from tearDown.

In this case, you can see that the the server has abruptly closed the socket

{code}
IoReceiver - /127.0.0.1:40511 2012-08-07 20:16:13,828 DEBUG [apache.qpid.transport.Connection]
connection closed: conn:8c6de0
{code}

shortly after the client sends the SessionTimeout. I suspect that the server will be throwing
a ProtocolViolationException on receipt of the SessionTimeout and closing the socket as a
result.
