Subject [jira] [Commented] (QPID-4463) SimpleLDAPAuthenticationManager should accept truststore and truststore password configuration
Date Thu, 02 May 2013 14:22:16 GMT

Robbie Gemmell commented on QPID-4463:

Had a quick look at this in relation to using the new SSL store configuration added via QPID-4739
for the ports etc. As are deferring most of the functionality for the SimpleLDAPAuthenticationManager
to the InitialDirContext we actually have little control over what it does in relation to
SSL, we would likely have to largely re-implement it in order to do this.

> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-4463
> Project: Qpid
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Java Broker
> Affects Versions: 0.21
> Reporter: Keith Wall
> To better support use cases where the Broker is required to authenticate against a Directory
protected by SSL, the Java Broker should accept truststore and truststore password via configuration.
> Currently the user is required to pass the JVM system properties javax.net.ssl.trustStore
and javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword (which are effectively globals).
