Subject [jira] [Resolved] (QPID-5387) Linearstore: Segmentation fault when deleting queue
Date Tue, 03 Dec 2013 23:25:35 GMT

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-5387?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel

Kim van der Riet resolved QPID-5387.

    Resolution: Fixed

Fixed in r.1547641.

An incorrect order of operations on LinearFileController resulted in all JournalFile objects
in LinearFileController::journalFileList_ being deleted before they could be recycled to the
Empty File Pool.

Reproducer now works correctly.

> When a client deletes a queue, the broker segfaults.
> Steps to Reproduce:
> 1. Enable linear store for qpidd
> 2. Create durable queue using linear store:
> {color:blue}{noformat}drain "q;{create:always,node:{type:queue, durable:true}}"{noformat}{color}
> 3. Delete the queue:
> {color:blue}{noformat}drain "q;{delete:always}"{noformat}{color}
> {{*qpid-receive*}} can also be used if the address strings remain identical to the above
