Subject [jira] [Commented] (QPID-6009) [Java Broker] Add meta data to managed attributes to provide information where valid values are restricted

Keith Wall commented on QPID-6009:
----------------------------------

One comment on the implementation of AmqpPrortImpl#getAllAvailableProtocolCombinations:

Shouldn't this respect the qpid.broker_default_amqp_protocol_excludes and qpid.broker_default_amqp_protocol_includes
system properties? These system properties allow the user to turn off support for protocols
broker-wide. Or is the intention that these system properties will be removed now the user
has the ability to configure protocol support on a per port basis?

> For some configured object types, the valid values for some attributes differ between
different implementation types (one example would be the valid combinations of protocols on
Ports). Information on valid values for such attributes could be provided in the annotation
and then provided to the UI through the meta data servlet.
