Subject [jira] [Created] (QPID-6027) [Java Broker] Establish a consistent stable order for configured object attributes with Json extracts and stores
Date Wed, 20 Aug 2014 21:25:27 GMT
Rob Godfrey created QPID-6027:
---------------------------------

Summary: [Java Broker] Establish a consistent stable order for configured object
attributes with Json extracts and stores
                 Key: QPID-6027
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-6027
             Project: Qpid
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Java Broker
            Reporter: Rob Godfrey
            Assignee: Rob Godfrey
             Fix For: 0.31

When reading a Json configuration extract or Json store, it is often difficult to quickly
establish where key fields like "id" and "name" are as the order of the attributes within
the objects is neither logical nor stable.

We should establish a stable ordering of attributes (and of children within an object) to
make it easy to read such config extracts
