Subject [jira] [Commented] (QPID-6093) UI to expose read/write operations for context name/value pairs
Date Wed, 17 Sep 2014 08:18:34 GMT

Keith Wall commented on QPID-6093:

I have the following comments:

# There is a regression on the Broker Attributes dialogue. The default values are no longer
being interpolated into the promptMessages (for example the Maximum Number Of Sessions field).
 This applies on all Browsers.
# I notice that edit VHN dialogue for BDB HA can occupy all the available window height and
sometimes the buttons fall off the bottom of the screen.
# On Safari on a Mac, when trying to add a new context name/value pair, the context widget
loses focus and this makes entering a value impossible.
# On IE8, if I click Edit Broker Attributes, then click Cancel I see a index.html 405 POST
not supported.

> Add UI to edit and add context variables for the following COs:
> Broker
> Virtual Host Node
> Virtual Host
> The control to set context variables should be displayed in a Panel folded by default.
User would need to expand the panel in order to edit context variables.
> Both inherited and local context variables should be displayed with their effective and
actual values.
> Local variables should be easily distinguished from inherited (highlighted with bold
> Only actual values should be editable.
> User should be able to toggle between local context variables and inherited context variables.
> System should be designed in such a way that functionality can be plugged into all COs.
> Context variables editing UI should be added into create and edit dialogs.
